pine lime.

Nothing says summer like a pine-lime Splice! Alongside it's deliciousness, the tasty treat is totally inspiring my colour palette right now. Whether all out brights or just a hint of neon, be brave, be bold and embrace the citrous cool.

the delta of venus.

It's funny how certain accessories capture your imagination and have you contemplating spending hundreds of dollars you don't have to spend. If I was choosing between being late on rent and this amazing Mania Mania 'Delta of Venus' necklace I'd probably choose the necklace. It's a perfect mash up of delicate and hard, with the chunky distressed crystal dangling delightfully from the dainty gold chain. I'd wear it paired with simple silk singlets in rich tones like emerald or maroon, a gorgeous jewel dressed down for some summer fun. Contemplate homelessness and purchase here.

Photobucket

Online Australian boutique For-Tomorrow have stocked up on some of down under's best design talent, including one of my personal favourites Arnsdorf. With minty denim and nude silks, it's a summer collection deserving of an outing to the beach or a summer bbq. Check out the rest of the for-tomorrow collection here. They also stock Josh Goot, Fernando Frisoni and Chronicles of Never....I'm apologising to your savings account in advance.

New York fashion week has a few certainties- sore feet, lack of sleep and a burning credit card debt. Just some of the stores I have been visiting...

luggage.

I'm packing up my apartment this week and getting everything sorted before I head off to NYC in a few weeks time. The thought of having to purchase a boring mini suitcase as my carry on bag is ruining my jet set wardrobe vision. Wish my savings account stretched to one of these tan Mulberry bags. Which to choose...the oversized Alexa or the Piccadilly?

I attended the launch of Mulberry's 'The Book' last week and was delighted to receive these pretty postcards that provide a snapshot of some of the gorgeous photos the book contains. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy and delve into the world of Bayswater and Tilly bags.

i clutch myself.

Photobucket

Today I was on a mission, a mission to find an acid bright oversized clutch bag. I braved the Sunday world, recapped royal wedding moments with a copy of Grazia and my favourite bircher muesli and then made my way into the new Sydney city ZARA store. I only had to line up for a few moments before the security door men waved me through into the fashion frenzy. Women were running everywhere, trying things on and then casting them aside. Through the madness I spotted the perfect bag. Alone on a top shelf, I pushed purposefully through the crowd before someone else snatched it up. It was bright orange, a large soft rectangle, with a detachable chain. Just what I was looking for. I made a beeline for the cash register- I needed to get out, it was frantic. But alas, the cashier line was 50 people deep. I loved the bag, but not enough to wait for an hour. So I placed it back up on it's lonely shelf and left. But now I've been thinking about it all afternoon. I think I'll have to stop in early tomorrow morning before the shows start and give it a loving home.

dion lee for cue.

I styled this hot pink Dion Lee for Cue blazer at work yesterday and I have to say, it is simply devine. Beautifully made, with nice fabric and stitch detailing, it has made it's way to the top of my most wanted list.

After a day of shooting jackets and sweaters at work yesterday, I'm all inspired to purchase my winter woollies. Lusting after these knits and jackets at Net-a-Porter.

Oh no. I must confess. I think I have a sunglass addiction. I just got two new pairs this week...eek! I'm just hoping it stays sunny so I can get some wear out of them. These are some of the more recent additions to my ever growing collection...My new favourite is the tortoiseshell and dusty pink retro Anne et Valentin.
